WARNING: If you are not caught up with ‘Game of Thrones,’ there are spoilers here!
Bella Ramsey, better known as Lyanna Mormont to ‘Game of Thrones‘ fans, haven’t been able to keep up with the hit HBO series. While she is a great young actress, young is the keyword. At only 15-years-old, her parents feel that some of the more brutal parts of the show are off limits for her still. The actress, who stole our hearts as the fierce Lady of Bear Island, has been able to watch her scenes but not much else of the series quite yet.
They graciously did allow her to watch what happened to her own character on last week’s
“The Long Night.” While she hasn’t been able to see much outside of her own scenes, the actress shared that “I’ll probably watch it all when I’m 18.”
For the role which may have helped make her future career as an actress over anything else she has done so far, it wouldn’t be surprising if she tried to watch it even sooner. As to the specific reason why she hasn’t been able to watch it all, you can blame some great parenting:
“Even the episodes I have seen, there have been some parts where Mum and Dad just stand in front of me to block me seeing anything too gruesome on screen. I was allowed to see myself being killed last Sunday and I’ve watched a bit of season seven.”
I can respect that decision making and am thrilled that they let her see at least her own “heroic” and “great death” considering she had acted through it.
Are you surprised that Bella Ramsey hasn’t been able to watch all of ‘Game of Thrones’ yet? Do you feel that Lyanna Mormont had a death worthy of her character in last week’s episode? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
