‘Avengers: Endgame‘ is the most anticipated film of the year with everyone trying to find out more about it and Marvel Studios trying to keep a lid on everything that will happen in the movie. With so little known about what we’ll be seeing on the big screen, it may surprise you that “a couple of hundred people” have already seen the film. That’s what The Russo Brothers are sharing but when you realize the type of people who have seen it, you can guess why spoilers haven’t been leaking out for this conclusion to The Avengers saga.
According to the brothers,
Joe Russo: “We haven’t told anyone. Certainly, people have seen it. We have a lot of technicians who are working on the movie at the end there. There’s a couple of hundred people who have seen the film.”
Anthony Russo: “But it’s important – look we wouldn’t want to spoil the film for anybody. We love the experience in the theater, you know, and the sense of discovery you have as the movie unfolds. We just try to provide for others what we want for ourselves.“
Considering the bulk of those who have seen it work for Marvel Studios, Disney, or a related company and have had to sign some massive non-disclosure agreements, it should come as no surprise that they’ve been able to keep spoilers from slipping through the facts. Still, with only a couple of weeks until the movie is released onto the world, it is an accomplishment few studios have been able to achieve in recent years.
Are you surprised that more than a hundred people have seen ‘Avengers: Endgame’ and no significant spoilers have surfaced yet? If you had already watched the movie would you be able to keep your mouth shut? How strongly do you think the NDA is worded for those working on the picture?
