This week DC Collectibles has released a number of new solicitations for upcoming Batman themed collectibles that are going to be releasing this fall including several statues, a half scale bust, and a new set of minifigures! Speed, villains and superheroes with a gritty and dystopian twist: DC’S ENGINES OF CHAOS—the latest statue line from DC Collectibles—is fast approaching.
After Ra’s al Ghul succeeds in destroying society as we know it, a postapocalyptic world of motor vehicles and mayhem emerges. Heroes and villains cruise a barren wasteland on distinctly individualized bikes and vehicles as they fight for control in this new world. Based on the designs of renowned artist Riley Rossmo, each statue is a high-RPM reimagining of a beloved DC character uniquely optimized for this world; some figures have adapted to battle, others to survival.
If you think the end of the world is enough to stop Batman…you don’t know the Dark Knight. Riding atop a custom bike complete with armored wheels and a bat-shaped grill, it’s clear Batman isn’t going to let a little apocalypse (or Joker bots) keep him from delivering justice. The statue is cast in polyresin, which allows for delightful details—like sand being kicked up from the force of the bike—to come through on the home product.

BATMAN BLACK & WHITE MINI FIGURE 7-PACK BOX SET FOUR
DC Collectibles’ long-running BATMAN BLACK & WHITE statue line has captured the hearts of collectors and comics fans alike with its interpretations of the World’s Greatest Detective and select Gotham City characters by the industry’s brightest stars.
Starting in 2019, DC Collectibles is creating an all-new offshoot of the beloved black-and-white collectibles line, this time offering 3.75-inch-tall PVC figures. Released in sets of seven, including resized rereleases of some of the most popular statues in the line’s history, each set will come with six previously available mini figures, plus one exclusive, never-before-released edition only available in the set.

Get Your Hands On The Foot
‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ collectors will be excited to hear that NECA’s 1:4 scale Foot Clan Soldier figure is hitting stores now! This figure is based on the Foot Clan Soldier design from the classic 1990 live action ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ film. The figure stands approximately 18″ tall and includes a variety of interchangeable hands, nunchucks, an axe, a sai, a baton, and a sword so you can get in a number of fantastic action poses with this massive figure! The figure is priced at $124.99 and is available directly from NECA now on their Amazon and Ebay stores, and should be hitting other retailers in the coming weeks. From the 1990 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie! The faceless soldiers of the Foot Clan exist to carry out the bidding of their mysterious leader, The Shredder… and while they lack the skills to face the Turtles one-on-one, in great numbers they are a force to be reckoned with.
The Foot Clan Soldier stands 18” tall and features over 30 points of articulation, including double knee and elbow joints. The figure is highly detailed and entirely accurate to the movie and comes with an arsenal of ninja weapon accessories.
