hellboy

I don’t know why they didn’t lead the marketing campaign for the rebooted ‘Hellboy‘ with this trailer. What you’re about to see is more of what we were promised the new iteration of this film would be about. Neil Marshall has delivered something darker that feels more in line with what Mike Mignola originally gave us on paper. Instead of the comedic elements which the first trailer gave us, this new one shows off his origins and gives us a look at what we’ll be seeing in the movie.

You can check it out right here!

With the movie having officially received an R-Rating it looks as if this trailer is trying to embrace it for the fans. In it, we get to see both monsters and humans alike were just decimated.

Oh, and as a bonus, there was a new poster released as well which you can check out right here!

I was on the fence after the first trailer, but now that this one has been released, I cannot wait for a chance to check this out! Honestly, I was a bit worried about David Harbour’s take on the character after the first trailer, but all of my fears have now been swept away. From the quality of the visuals to the tone to the ramped up dangers to both Hellboy and humanity which have been showcased here – I’m all in!

What did you think of the second trailer for ‘Hellboy’? Did you like this one more or less than the first? Will you be giving this one a chance at the box office? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
