To say that Stan Lee had lived a full life would be an understatement and the official tribute put together by POW! Entertainment shows just that. Called ‘Excelsior! A Celebration of the Amazing, Fantastic, Incredible & Uncanny Life of Stan Lee,’ there is an amazing all-star set of creators, actors, and more attached to make an appearance.
That isn’t all that they have in mind to help celebrate the life of such a creative giant either.
Fan-owned entertainment company Legion M will be producing the tribute which won’t just have these amazing guests but also “be a fan experience with photos, artwork, and Stan’s classic comic books and memorabilia on display. Various discussions with celebrities and comic book industry figures will be held, as well.”
Those who will appear to give tribute includes Mark Hamill, Kevin Smith, RZA, the creative team from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Clark Gregg, Felicia Day, Bill Duke, and cast members from Marvel’s The Runaways, FX’s Legion, Fox’s The Gifted, producers Lauren Shuler Donner and Derek Hoffman, Deadpool co-creator Rob Liefeld, The Dark Knight executive producer Michael Uslan, X-Men executive producer Tom DeSanto, Blade creator Marv Wolfman, Marvel’s Chief Creative Officer Joe Quesada, Marvel’s Head of Television Jeph Loeb, Elektra: Assassin artist Bill Sienkiewicz, and Lee’s business partner at Stan Lee’s POW! Entertainment, Gill Champion.
There will be an extremely limited number of tickets available to the event and proceeds will be donated to The Hero Initiative. Tickets are available directly from Legion M though at the time this is being posted one of the packages is already sold out.
