With the various trailers of ‘Captain Marvel‘ we’ve gotten a few ideas of what to expect from the film and now executive producer Jonathan Schwartz has confirmed quite a few plot points from the upcoming film. Most of these have already been hinted at from interviews and the trailers but it is great to see that what we’ve all been expecting is, for the most part, right!

Here is what Schwartz has laid out for audiences in advance of the movie’s release:

“You get a glimpse of her squad there, the Starforce, led by the Jude Law’s character. Very quickly along this journey, they get dispatched on a mission to an alien planet to fight the Skrulls and over the course of that mission, Brie Larson’s character is captured by the Skrulls.

“That puts her in contact with the younger, two-eyed version of Agent Fury, and the two of them together have to stop the Skrull plot on Earth. And at the same time, get to the root of Carol’s past. So that’s the bones of the movie.”

This lines up with much of what we’ve seen for the film so far though doesn’t really delve into what role Jude Law’s character will be or how she’ll have to go up against the Skrull Talos. It also hints that we’ll see Carol’s past looked at but not how far into it we’ll end up going. It also skips over how Ronan and Korath are going to be involved in the war with the Skrulls.

Are you happy to hear that this description lines up with everything we’ve seen so far from ‘Captain Marvel’? Do you think that we’ll have some big twists in store which weren’t covered here? Share your thoughts in the comments below, True Believers!
