Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina Production Team Is Ready To Cast The Dark Lord

The second season of the wildly popular Netflix drama, ‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’ is well underway. Now, reports have surfaced that the production team is looking to cast someone to bring the Dark Lord to life.

The team behind ‘Sabrina’ is looking at men of any ethnicity between twenty and forty years of age to take on the role. His storyline as Sabrina’s arch-nemesis and betrothed will bring the character in and out of the story in a guest star role. The second season will show the Dark Lord in human form as Lucifer Morningstar, rather than the Baphomet (scary goat-human) that terrorized Greendale in the first season.

The character is described as attractive, sophisticated and devilishly charming, and almost ageless in appearance. While it is unknown how he will fit into the overall storyline, viewers know that he has a major bone to pick with Sabrina for her initial refusal to sign the Book of the Beast. Now that she is under his control, however, there is no doubt he will execute that power over her in some way.

Written by ‘Riverdale’ writer and showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, the ‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’ features Kiernan Shipka as Sabrina Spellman, a typical small-town girl who also happens to be a powerful witch. She lives with her aunts Hilda (Lucy Davis) and Zelda (Miranda Otto), and struggles to balance her high-school life with the pressures from the supernatural world of witches and magic. The series also features Michelle Gomez as Madame Satan, Chance Perdomo as Ambrose Spellman, Richard Coyle as Father Blackwood, Tati Gabrielle as Prudence, Ross Lynch as Harvey Kinkle, and Bronson Pinchot as the principle of Sabrina’s school.

‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’ season two will premiere on Netflix April 5, 2019. The holiday special, ‘A Midwinter’s Tale’ will be available on December 14.
