Those of us still reeling from the events of ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ may have been holding onto the tiniest sliver of hope that Loki may not really be dead. Well, the Russo Brothers are here to crush those dreams, as they have confirmed the death of the God of Mischief.
A screening of ‘Infinity War’ brought Joe and Anthony Russo out for a live Q&A. The two spoke about the wild fan theory that Loki had disguised himself as Bruce Banner, and that is why the Hulk refused to make an appearance. They responded to that with a very frank retort:
“Loki is dead.”

So, good news for Hulk fans. Bad news for Loki fans! Though we already know that Loki will return for his own series on the upcoming Disney+ streaming service. What is not known for sure is whether Tom Hiddleston will return to reprise his role. So far, he is only rumored to be on board for the project.
