With ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’ due out in theaters in less than a month, Sony is making sure to continue hitting hard with their marketing campaign, the latest TV promos of which are making sure audiences are seeing fan-favorite Gwen Stacy in action, as the TV spot shows Gwen in action helping Miles in his fight against the villainous (and monstrous looking in this movie I might add) Kingpin.
Fans have been excited about her inclusion in the film ever since she was first revealed in one of the early trailers, and some might argue the more she is in the film the better, as similar to Miles, there is a potential for another stand-alone Spider-Man franchise solely with Gwen if they find the right way to use her character.
The promo itself starts with the newest TV spot, showing us Gwen working with both Miles and Peter against the Kingpin, and then moves on to show a number of other TV Spots for the film, most of which feature Gwen in some capacity or another. Make sure to check them out for yourself (right below here), and then share your thoughts on the character of Spider-Gwen, how you think the movie is going to do (it is already getting great early reviews by the way) and what you think of the idea of some of the “Spider” people in the movie (like Gwen) getting their own movies following this one.
