We’ve already heard that Disney’s streaming service is developing a ‘Scarlet Witch‘ series and now it appears that Vision will be getting in on the action as well. With the romantic entanglement between Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany’s characters having blossomed by the time ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ had come around, it should come as no surprise to see them share more screen time.
Vision might not just have a lead role, but the rumor is reporting that he might be appearing in a shared leading role with the Scarlet Witch:
“The other thing I’m hearing is that Paul Bettany‘s Vision will have a large part in the previously reported Scarlet Witch show. In fact, it may actually be a series more about the super-powered couple than just Wanda.”
Just like the ‘Loki’ series, this news doesn’t clarify that we’ll be seeing a return to the land of the living for Vision as this could just as easily take place prior to Thanos’ snap. We could see a focus on them in action together while their relationship turns from casual acquaintances into something much deeper as seen in ‘Infinity War.’
Previously we’ve heard that these mini-series will run from six to eight episodes and as they’re being produced by Marvel Studios instead of Marvel TV, we know that they’ll be canon and intricately linked to the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Finally, the studios can give us some semblance that “It’s all connected” is actually true.
