What happens when you mix two versions of the ‘Teen Titans’ together? We’re about to find out as DC has announced that we’ll be getting ‘Teen Titans Go! vs. Teen Titans’! Fans were already hoping that this could happen when the original Titans appeared in a post-credits scene for ‘Teen Titans Go! to the Movies‘ which showed all of the original members and Robin sharing that “We think we’ve found a way back.”
It looks like they’ve found a way back for the crossover we didn’t know that we wanted or needed but now fans probably can’t stop thinking about!
A trailer recently surfaced from the upcoming home release of ‘Teen Titans Go! to the Movies’ that showed the two teams would meet:
Warner Bros. has confirmed that the trailer is real and that in 2019 we’ll be getting ‘Teen Titans Go! Vs. Teen Titans’! No details have been released yet to clarify if this will be another feature film or part of the ongoing episodes but either way, it is something to look forward to!
The main speculation from the initial teaser is that we’d be getting a new series on the hit streaming service DC Universe which is still finding content to lure in fans. Being able to bring back such a hit series would likely motivate those who haven’t been fans of the new ‘Teen Titans Go!’ but loved the original to have a reason to buy into the service.
