Bradley Cooper’s Rocket Raccoon may have made it through ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ in one piece but he lost all of his friends in the film, yet that hasn’t stopped the actor from supporting Thanos. Yes, folks, Cooper is full on Team Thanos when it comes to eradicating half of all life on Earth and out among the stars.

Now, before you jump on the actor, it should be noted that he was more of rooting for the character to win and not necessarily a fan of the results that came with that win. As Cooper explains:

“Yeah. It was amazing. That’s why that movie works. Thanos is… What a character. The fact that he made you, kind of, go like ‘He’s got a point, right? He’s got a point.’ And part of me is like ‘I’m glad he’s sitting there on his chair, with the sun coming down.’ I mean, I hate that half of the world’s dead, but there’s a part of me that’s like, ‘He succeeded!’ I don’t know what that says about me.”

I suspect when we hear Cooper’s voice work in ‘Avengers 4‘ that we won’t see a trace of that enjoyment when Rocket finally has Thanos in his sights. Especially when you factor in that a translation of Groot’s final word to Rocket before fading away after The Snap was “Dad.” It seems hard to imagine that everyone could sit down and be friends after that!

Do you agree with Bradley Cooper that it was great that Thanos won in ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ or are you now questioning “what that says about” the actor? Share your thoughts in the comments below, True Believers!

The untitled ‘Avengers 4’ will be released on May 3rd, 2019!
