So the non-Spider-Man ‘Venom’ movie is getting closer to release and to celebrate that event we’ve got a slew of new images from the upcoming film to share with you. This “turd in the wind” will have fans of Tom Hardy and Eddie Brock hopefully thrilled but while ‘Venom’ actually looks good, the teasers have met with mixed responses so far. Even so, Sony is pushing full steam ahead on this being the movie to launch their non-Spider-Man and non-MCU Marvel Cinematic Universe with a PG-13 rating in the hopes that they can cut more deals to be directly involved with The Webslinger down the line.

If you’re hoping that Sony is going to be motivating you with new images of the Symbiote with these 16 images, it is time to crush those hopes! We’ve got a lot of Eddie Brock and some of the other characters but not many of Venom in action.

So, if you’re into checking out a movie based on a Spider-Man character that isn’t able to acknowledge that Spidey existed and was unable to keep a franchise with Marvel’s most recognizable character profitable than its time to dive right in!

So there they were folks, 16 new images from ‘Venom.’ Part of me is hoping this movie could be great but with how much the last set of ‘Spider-Man’ movies by Sony failed to resonate with audiences, I’m not holding my breath on this one.

What did you think of these shots from ‘Venom’? Which of the 16 ended up being your favorite? Do you think that this movie is going to be a hit or another “turd in the wind” from Sony when it comes to being unable to properly adapt a Marvel property? Share your thoughts in the comments below, True Believers!

You can join with ‘Venom’ at your local theater on October 5th, 2018
