The Crimes Of Grindelwald

Potterheads, can you feel it in the air? That’s right, ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them: The Crimes of Grindelwald’ is drawing closer every day! Ahead of the premiere, a slew of character photos has been released, giving away new details about the stars of the sequel.

The first photo features Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander and is being called ‘Wanted for Questioning.’ The end of the first movie found Newt helping capture dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald. What could our favorite magizoologist be in trouble for now?

Tina Goldstein (Katherine Waterston) is featured in the next photo called ‘On Foreign Assignment.’ We know that the no-nonsense Auror will find herself in Paris, and was sent there by MACUSA on a mysterious assignment!

Next, we get a glimpse of Queenie Goldstein played by Alison Sudol in her photo, ‘Whereabouts Unknown.’ Queenie and her No-Maj love interest Jacob Kowalski were last seen in their New York bakery. But, where could she be now?

Jacob (Dan Folger) appears in his ‘No-Maj of Interest’ portrait. Jacob became one of the only American No-Maj’s to have full knowledge of the wizarding world. Maybe MACUSA is not so happy about that.

Jude Law as Albus Dumbledore is ‘Under Surveillance’ in the next photo! A recent trailer for the film revealed that Dumbledore can’t fight Grindelwald and Newt has to instead.

Ezra Miller is all grown up as Credence Barebone in ‘Searching for Identity!’ Credence caused a lot of trouble in the first film, and will no doubt continue to do so in the sequel!

Of course, we get a shot of Johnny Depp as the dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald in his photo, ‘Dark Wizard at Large.’ I am sure eagle eyed Potterheads have noticed the Deathly Hallows symbol at the bottom of the photos. Surely this will come into play!

We get a great look at Zoe Kravitz as Leta Lestrange in her shot, ‘Implicated by Prophecy.’ While Lestrange and Newt shared some sort of a relationship in school, she finds herself romantically involved with Newt’s brother.

Theseus Scamander, Callum Turner, is ‘Under Ministry Orders.’ Newt’s brother is Leta’s fiancé and is a Ministry Auror.

Nagini (Claudia Kim) appears in ‘Aiding a Fugitive.’ Nagini’s character does something to help Credence in the sequel.
