With Season 9 the last time that we’ll see Andrew Lincoln’s Rick Grimes show up on ‘The Walking Dead,’ it is almost sad to see these cast portraits come up. However, even with an internal civil war potentially on the horizon, most of these shots seem to be showing better times ahead. These good times aren’t likely to last long, but it’ll be nice to see the characters enjoying a measure of happiness before everything inevitably falls apart once again.
First up we have a shot of Danai Gurira as Michonne reaching for her trusty samurai sword.
Second up is Andrew Lincoln in what will likely be one of his last promo shots of Rick Grimes with some extremely short hair.
Lauren Cohan isn’t looking too pregnant as Maggie in this one. With a massive time jump expected, this shouldn’t come as a surprise.
Norman Reedus’s Daryl might be sporting his crossbow but we’ve learned that he’ll have some new weapons of choice in the upcoming season.
Everyone is dying to see Melissa McBride’s take on Carol making another comeback on the show!

Everyone loves Jerry and I’m thrilled to see that Cooper Andrews is finding more roles outside of ‘The Walking Dead.’ That being said, I hope he’ll have a larger role to play as the series goes forward.
