This year’s Arrowverse crossover event might have initially seemed to be underwhelming without the ‘Legends of Tomorrow‘ gang joining in on the fun, but after the big news about Batwoman joining the CW during the event, things have only gotten better and better for the crossover, and today is no exception. We now have more information about the addition of Lois Lane to the crossover, who will appear alongside Superman, adding to the roster of heroes and DC characters being added to the growing Arrowverse world.
According to That HashTag Show:
“The show is looking to cast a Caucasian woman in her early 30s as Lois Lane. Described as the daughter of US General Sam Lane, Lois is a tenacious, righteous and stubborn reporter who will go to any length to get the story and almost never fails.”
They go on to reveal that she will only appear in the ‘Supergirl’ and ‘The Flash’ parts of the crossover, which means she will not appear in the ‘Arrow’ episode.
For those who remember, the last time we saw any member of the Lane family was back during ‘Supergirl’ Season 1 which featured Lois’s sister Lucy Lane and her father Sam Lane, though neither character has appeared on the show since the end of the premiere season. Fans have been hoping to see Lois ever since ‘Supergirl’ began, especially once Clark/ Superman starting making appearances, and now they are hoping to see her have some scenes with fellow reporters Cara Danvers and Iris West, all of whom have a lot in common.
Do you have any dream suggestions for who could play Lois this time around? Do you wish she and Clark would stick around ‘Supergirl’ more, especially since the big-screen Superman is not fairing so well and people really seem to love the CW interpretations of the character?
