Avengers: Infinity War Thanos

By this time all the dust has settled from the events in ‘Avengers: Infinity War‘ and until our surviving heroes figure out how to undo the finger snap that brought the film to a close, we can just sit around and re-watch the first film and what Thanos is capable of a couple of dozen times. During those viewing, you have to contemplate if the “#ThanosDidNothingWrong” has lost their minds.

Well, for those who want bit more insight as to their point of view you should check out this “Making It Real” featurette which delves into the complexity of The Mad Titan. As Josh Brolin says of Thanos in the video, “Thanos is a very complex character. What he’s doing, from his point of view, is a very positive thing.”

You can check it out right here!

This was a great “behind-the-scenes look at how Josh Brolin brought Thanos to life” with some insightful little details which should put a smile on your face.

The one statement I’m not sure that I wholeheartedly agree with is Anthony Russo who says that “We wanted to tell a story about a character with a really complex and empathetic interior life.” I really am just having problems feeling empathy for Thanos or his plan. Yes, I can understand where he comes from in a twisted point of view, but empathy is not what I would call it.

Do you think that Thanos did nothing wrong? Is he as a complex of a character as Josh Brolin is stating or is the “mad” portion of his nickname of The Mad Titan really sharing how crazy he is? Will he be entirely defeated in ‘Avengers 4’ or could we see him pop up again further down the line? Share your thoughts below, True Believers!
