This year marks the 25th anniversary of what many consider to be fan favorite director Tim Burton’s creative masterpiece; ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’. It’s been a quarter of a century since Jack Skellington, Sally Doll, Oogie Boogie, and the rest all first graced the silver screen, and Funko is planning to celebrate in style with a a stash of new toys that would even make Santa Clause intimidated! Geoffrey Not Quite So Extinct
So this next one may be a bit confusing, as you’re all going to ask yourselves “wait didn’t ToysRUs just go out of business?”. Yes, for the most part ToysRus is gone, but through some small fortune the business is still up and running in the great white north, Canada! This week Funko announced the latest figure that will be exclusive to Fan Expo Canada, ToysRUs’s own mascot Geoffrey dressed as Iron Man! Geoffrey will be available at Fan Expo Canada, as well as The Funko Shop website and ToysRUs Canada locations. 
New Specialty Series & Previews Exclusives
Both Funko’s Specialty Series collectibles and most of their Previews Exclusives are available exclusively at local comic shops, so we figured we would throw them all together in one quick announcement for you! The latest figures in the small retailer exclusive Funko Specialty Series are a POP! Vinyl ‘Flying’ Superman (for his 80th Anniversary!) and a Mini Hikari 2-pack of Jack Skellington that is limited to just 3000 pieces! These will both be available this fall. 
Additionally, there will be two previews exclusive items coming our way in October for fans of ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’! There will be a special comic-styled Starlord POP! Vinyl available for Halloween Comics Fest on October 27th exclusively at local comic shops! There will also be a special previews exclusive comic-styled Rocket Raccoon POP! Vinyl that is limited to just 25000 pieces worldwide, meaning he is likely to be a hot commodity among collectors as well! Both of these new ‘Guardians’ figures are anticipated for an October release. Here’s hoping we get comic styled Gamora, Drax, and Groot to go along with them soon!
