NECA Scares Up Some New Figures
This week the team at NECA is excited to announce two of their most highly anticipated figures of the year are officially on their way to store shelves!
While the newest film in the ‘Predator’ franchise (simply titled ‘The Predator’) hasn’t even hit theaters yet, fans of the franchise can officially pick up their first NECA figure from the new film, The Fugitive Predator! Starting things off properly, NECA dove headfirst into ‘The Predator’ by making this new figure an ‘Ultimate’ super articulated figure from the start! The Fugitive Predator comes packaged with alternative hands, interchangeable forearms (armored and unarmored), both Masked and Unmasked heads, and of course a small arsenal of weapons! You can buy The Fugitive Predator from ‘The Predator’ directly from NECA’s Ebay and Amazon stores now!
While The Fugitive Predator is from a new upcoming film, NECA’s next figure is a bit of a throwback itself with the all-new Ultimate Pennywise figure from Stephen King’s ‘It’ (1990)! While the hype surrounding the 2017 version of ‘It’ is quite palpable, there is still a ton of love for the original TV movie adaptation of the novel. This new 7″ scale Ultimate Pennywise figure from NECA is fully articulated and includes a whopping four alternative heads, alternative hands, balloons, a noisemaker, and more! Ultimate Pennywise from NECA should be in stores by weeks end and is available now directly from NECA’s Amazon and eBay stores.
“It’s Morphin Time!”
While Hasbro may now have the master license for the ‘Power Rangers’ brand firmly in their grasp, the team at Bandai still has a few more months to release their final ‘Power Rangers’ collectibles before their time with the license officially expires next April. Thankfully for collectors, they are trying to complete as many Ranger teams as possible in their 6.5″ scale ‘Power Rangers Legacy’ line! The latest wave to be announced, Series 7, is comprised of three new figures including the White Dino Thunder Ranger and both the Red and Blue Space Psycho Rangers! Each figure comes packed with ccharacter-specificaccessories. Hopefully ,these won’t be the last figures we see from this line as it winds down! All three ‘Power Rangers Legacy’ Series 7 figures are due to hit stores later this month!

You’re Going To ‘Laika’ This!
Mere weeks after announcing a new line of ‘Coraline’ POP! Vinyls and years after they tackled ‘The Box Trolls’, Funko is already delving back into Laika Studios back catalog to bring us a new series of POP! Vinyls based on another of the studios animated classics; ‘Kubo And The Two Strings! Coming this fall is a set of three new POP! Vinyls based on the award winning film including Kubo (with origami sidekick Little Hanzo!), his helpful friend Monkey, and an alternate version of Kubo (this time wearing his father’s armor!). These are expected to his stores this November!

Warner Brothers have done as much PR work as possible to make Aquaman widely known as a badass rather than that blonde guy who talks to fish, and it looks like it’s really paying off! While he appeared in last year’s ‘Justice League’ ensemble film, later this year we’re getting our first full on live action ‘Aquaman’ movie, and the team at Funko is ready to get you hyped with a massive amount of new ‘Aquaman’ the movie collectibles!
