The-near Halloween release of the second season of ‘Castlevania’ is inching closer and a trailer for the second season has been released! The show has a huge fan base so far, and things are whipping into shape with the third season having already been ordered before the release of the second.
Executive producer Adi Shankar shared the first trailer for the upcoming season at AsiaPOP Comic-Con, and now it is online for all to enjoy!
The series has primarily been based on Konami’s 1989 installment of ‘Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse’ and has blown most other adaptations of video games to film out of the water. Fan responses have been strong, and for a good reason as Richard Armitage as Richard Belmont, James Callis as Alucard, and Graham McTavish as Dracula has done an unbelievable job at voicing these characters.
‘Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse’ has always been regarded as one of the best installments for the franchise with ‘Castlevania: Symphony of the Night’ the only game to consistently be called it’s better. Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if after they entirely tell the adapted tale of ‘Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse’ that it could evolve into a follow up that puts Alucard front and center and shares his story.
We’ve previously learned that the upcoming second season will be eight episodes long and will continue giving us the joy of watching Trevor Belmont working to finish Dracula once and for all. Or, at least until the next reincarnation of everyone’s favorite bloodsucker shows up.
