For those fans who have not yet had a chance to check out the ‘Constantine: City of Demons’ show on the CW Seed, never fear, there is an even better way to experience the series coming out soon! The CW Seed is releasing a feature version of the short series, with over an hour of never-before-seen, brand-new footage added in to help flesh out the story and make it a true cinematic experience for all the fans hungry for more of Matt Ryan’s Constantine!
Set in the same continuity as the popular ‘Justice League Dark‘ where we first met the animated incarnation of ‘Constantine‘ (also voiced by Ryan), the story follows Constantine as he sets about to right an old wrong and save a little girl and her soul from a magical coma and face down one of his oldest and darkest enemies.
The CW clearly knows a winner when they see one which is why they continue to push out new content with Ryan’s Constantine, even making him a series regular in the upcoming fourth season of ‘Legends of Tomorrow,’ and that should make fans very excited for this movie, and for the next seasons of ‘Legends.’ Check out the trailer for ‘City of Demons’ below, which sets the stage for the film, reminding us of the stakes, Constantine’s personality quirks, and the setting of the adventure, while also making sure to show off some of the flashier animations of the film.
