‘Split’ caught everyone off guard as a surprise sequel to ‘Unbreakable’ and now the director is showing off what the third film, titled ‘Glass,’ in this series will look like.

Not only are these the first shots of the major characters in ‘Glass’ but they hint that these three will be more connected than just trying to see Bruce Willis’ David Dunn keep James McAvoy‘s Crumb and Samuel L. Jackson‘s Elijah Price behind bars. In fact, it looks like Dunn will be joining these two villains for some group therapy at some point in the film.

One of the highlights of ‘Glass’ comes straight from the mouth of McAvoy who shares a fun bonus about Crumb and what we can expect to see from him when the movie drops:

“We get to spend some time with some new people that live inside Kevin.”

That should be fun in itself, but we’ve also learned that Anya Taylor-Joy’s Casey Cooke, Price’s mother who was played by Charlayne Woodard, and David’s son Spencer Treat Clark would all be showing up as well. Don’t expect minor cameos either as Shyamalan teased that “[They] play a big role.”

How Dunn ends up behind bars is still a mystery, but of the doctor played by Sarah Paulson, Shyamalan states:

“She deals with people that think they’re comic-book characters. It’s kind of the modern-day equivalent of ‘I think I’m Jesus’ or ‘I’m an emperor.’”

It is an interesting theory, and I can’t wait to see how she ends up reacting when all of them actually start acting in character and we see Dunn’s strength and Crumb’s abilities emerge. Of course, a twist could have her end up as the villain taking a role similar to Price in the first film.

Are you looking forward to seeing what M. Night Shyamalan does with ‘Glass’? Which of these first shots of the film is your favorite? Do you think Price, Crumb, or someone else will be the lead villain in this movie by the time the credits roll? Share your thoughts below!

Following the conclusion of Split, Glass finds Dunn pursuing Crumb’s superhuman figure of The Beast in a series of escalating encounters, while the shadowy presence of Price emerges as an orchestrator who holds secrets critical to both men.
