While Damien Darhk’s attempts to release Mallus upon the world in ‘Legends of Tomorrow‘ didn’t work out as expected, it does look like his daughter Nora Darhk is here to stay. Courtney Ford (‘Supernatural,’ ‘True Blood’) who played Nora, has just been signed to become a series regular for the upcoming fourth season. The actress was introduced in the fifth episode of last season and was already a recurring character who will now be around full time to torment our heroes.
Entertainingly enough, Ford is married to Brandon Routh in real-life whose character Ray Palmer is attracted to Nora. It sounds like these two might not have any difficulty showing on-screen chemistry if they ever get a little closer to one another.
With Ray having helped Nora escape prison by using her father’s time stone to get a fresh start, it should prove interesting to see how this new life will evolve. Working with our heroes could pave the way for a redemption arc for Nora unless she ends up continuing to follow in her father’s footsteps for a yet to be revealed reason.
Ford will be joining both Matt Ryan as Constantine and Jes Macallan as Ava Sharpe who were also promoted to series regulars while Keiynan Lonsdale is set to depart the show in the upcoming season.
