We know that Jim Starlin is responsible for Thanos and the epic finger snap which brought ‘Avengers: Infinity War‘ to a close and now we’ve learned that more of his creations might be popping up in the Marvel Cinematic Universe! The details came out during the Puerto Rico Comic Con where Starlin was asked about ‘Avengers 4.’ While he didn’t give away any direct spoilers for the film there was a mention that he would have more credits in it than he did in ‘Avengers: Infinity War’!
As all of his creations that have been given a cinematic adaptation so far were already included within ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ this could only mean that another of his characters is set to crop up. Thanos, Drax, and Gamora are his three cinematic characters were featured in the film.
So you have to wonder who else might show up. The father of Thanos, A’lars, was mentioned by name in ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and could be an easy character to bring back. Naturally, Death would be an option that comic fans would be thrilled to see though is unlikely to make an appearance unless it is to collect Thanos as he passes but as there has been no focus on his comic-love life so far, that seems unlikely. Another full creation by the writer was Shang-Chi, Master of Kung Fu who is unlikely to pop up and while he helped evolve both Adam Warlock and Captain Marvel, he wasn’t responsible for their creations.
Possibilities could include Pip the Troll, Sui-San, the mother of Thanos, Eros the brother of Thanos, and a multitude of cosmic entities such as Kronos, In-Betweener, Eon, Lord Chaos, and Master Order. While Marvel Studios has had no issues with going cosmic so far, most of these more God-like creations have yet to be addressed.
