Ever since the cast of ‘The Defenders’ was announced, fans of ‘Luke Cage‘ and Iron Fist have been hoping for “Heroes for Hire” to be founded and the groundwork might be in place! The banter between these two heroes was on point in ‘The Defenders’ and it looks like the streaming service wants to encourage the interaction between Cage and Danny Rand to continue as we’ve got a new shot of the two working together in the upcoming second season of ‘Luke Cage.’
We already knew that Mike Colter would be back in the main role with Simone Missick as Misty Knight rocking a brand new arm as well as Rosario Dawson’s Claire Temple. Now we’ve got a great look at Finn Jones in the sophomore season. I’m not sure if I would have preferred to have this shot come as a surprise or not but suspect it would have been a hard secret to keep in today’s world of leaks so at least we’re getting a production photo of the duo to share!

The second season showrunner Cheo Hodari Coker has teased that Cage will be learning some fighting tips from Iron Fist as “Danny helps Luke channel his chi.” Though if there is any indication from ‘The Defenders’ or the comics, it will also end up having Colter’s character needing to use some anger management to deal with the annoyance of Danny Rand.
