While the DCEU was initially teasing they would release a promotional shot of ‘Shazam!‘ soon, that seems to increasingly become less of a priority as we now have more photos and even footage of the film. With so many early looks at Zachary Levi already in costume, it will become less important for the studio to appease fans unless they try to take control of the narrative of these releases. However, if Warner Bros. is going to continue filming in public locations, these leaks will likely grow as well.

First up, we get actual footage of what will end up on the big screen if it isn’t scrapped in post-production. Here, Shazam catches a bus which is either out of control or on the run and shows Levi in action while in the classic costume we’ve already seen for the film.

Let’s take a look!

It isn’t clear if he helped stop the bus, but he looks to be trying to talk to the commuters on it and not chase after any which could be villains.

That isn’t all though! Another photo has come from someone snapping an image from the set at ground level. This one gives a view of the front that, while partially covered, is the closest look we’ve seen so far!

In a world of modernized cinematic costumes, it is almost refreshing to see this classic look making it to the big screen. One has to wonder it will be inherent to the character’s origin or more of what the mind of a 14-year-old wanted Shazam! to look like.

Are you digging the outfit which we’ll see Levi wearing when ‘Shazam!’ hits the big screen next year? Do you think they’ll update the uniform by the end of the movie or will we be getting this classic style throughout the film? Share your thoughts below!

Synopsis:

We all have a superhero inside us, it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In Billy Batson’s (Angel)
case, by shouting out one word—SHAZAM!—this streetwise 14-year-old foster kid can turn into the
adult Super Hero Shazam (Levi), courtesy of an ancient wizard. Still a kid at heart—inside a ripped,
godlike body—Shazam revels in this adult version of himself by doing what any teen would do with superpowers: have fun with them! Can he fly? Does he have X-ray vision? Can he shoot lightning
out of his hands? Can he skip his social studies test? Shazam sets out to test the limits of his abilities
with the joyful recklessness of a child. But he’ll need to master these powers quickly in order to fight
the deadly forces of evil controlled by Dr. Thaddeus Sivana (Strong).

‘Shazam!’ will be flying into theaters on April 5th, 2019!
