Longtime fans of ‘The Walking Dead‘ comics and TV show are going to love this new clip of Michonne taking out some walkers in the midseason premiere! Even those who are sick of the show these days can appreciate the gruesome deaths of a few of these. While there isn’t too much action in this specific clip, it looks like it might be the tail end of a chase done just right. With Negan and his Saviors being the all-encompassing evil that our survivors must deal with, there has been a severe lack of Walkers as of late.

Next Sunday while we deal with Carl’s death and Negan’s men having left Alexandria in flames, it looks like some zombies will have stumbled into their hometown. Hopefully, this little walker attack will help to divert Michonne away from the upcoming loss of her surrogate son for part of the episode.
Not only that but maybe it’ll help get actress Danai Gurira’s mind off of it. She was “absolutely devastated” finding out about Carl’s death because “You’re in the story. You’re in it, and you’re also in a family. It was hard.” She went on to say that “Carl and Chandler are a blessing to Michonne and to Danai, you know what I mean? I adore Chandler, and [for] Michonne, Carl is her healer.” Having become whole again and now losing part of her connection to the world and Rick will have a lasting impact on the character.
