There isn’t many ways to go in your career after playing Captain Kirk but William Shatner has found a new direction by voicing Phil the plant in the upcoming cinematic take on ‘Aliens Ate My Homework’! The film is based on a four-book series which has taken the world by storm and Shatner not only is in the film but is introducing the trailer as well.

According to our esteemed Captain:

“Hi, I’m William Shatner. Check out my new movie Aliens Ate My Homework, where I play the intrepid intergalactic adventurer known as Phil the Plant. The movie is based on Burce Coville’s blockbuster book series, and here’s a sneak peek.”

Based on Bruce Coville’s best-selling book series, this suspenseful family comedy
follows the adventures of sixth-grader Rod Allbright and the extraterrestrial lawmen
known as the Galactic Patrol. When a tiny spaceship flies through his window and
lands on his science project, Rod and his cousin Elspeth meet a group of friendly
aliens, including Phil, a talking plant (voiced by William Shatner). The earthlings
quickly join the aliens’ adventurous mission to help defeat an evil alien criminal.
After discovering the evil alien is disguised as a human – someone he knows all too
well – Rod and Elspeth race to save the world from total planetary disaster.

Sean McNamara (‘The King’s Daughter’) has some decent expectations for those who are familiar with the novels which have sold over 17-million copies globally. You’ll be able to check out the movie on DVD, Digital, or VOD this March 6th, 2018!
