We’re under a month away until the release of ‘Maze Runner: The Death Cure’ and if you’re in need of a refresher from the last two films then we’ve got the video for you! This recap clocks in at only a minute and a half and shares all the highlights from the first two films as told by the cast themselves! We’re down to the last movie in this trilogy in a world where young adult franchises have been adding at least one additional film to fluff up box office returns (we’re looking at you, ‘Hunger Games’), so it is a refreshing change of pace.
Wes Ball will be once again directing the film with a script by T.S. Nowlin that is based on James Dashner’s novels. In the final installment, we will see Thomas and the Gladers attempt to save their friends from the Last City which is the most dangerous maze of them all.

As the movies will run as a trilogy and close things up as the novels did, it will be interesting to see if they will later try to adapt the prequel novels ‘The Kill Order’ and ‘The Fever Code’ as well. The first of these two prequels didn’t really have a focus on most of the characters which we see in the films although the second does have a starring part for Thomas. The two do work in conjunction so it would be feasible to make a prequel movie combining the two novels but I wouldn’t hold my breath for it.

Synopsis:
In the epic finale to the Maze Runner saga, Thomas leads his group of escaped Gladers on their final and most dangerous mission yet.
