While reviews for Marvel’s ‘Inhumans‘ have been floundering on ABC, it looks as if a new casting for the upcoming season of ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.‘ hints that a crossover between the two shows is happening. Word on the street is that Kree Assassin Sals-Bek will be joining in on whatever shenanigans are going on in the fifth season of Marvel’s longest running live-action show connected to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
If you’re not familiar with the character you shouldn’t feel bad as he only appeared in one issue in the comics. The story in the issue itself was during the “Atlantis Rising” event and was in ‘Inhumans: The Great Refuge’. That alone should give you a hint that the Inhumans were involved but those who have read the issue know that Bek is one of three Kree assassins whose mission was to exterminate the Inhuman Royal Family.
While we know that a stunt actor is being searched to play an “imposing but lithe assassin” with a 2-episode arc, it isn’t clear if he’ll have the same mission here. At this time we only know that the Kree and another alien species will be involved with our agents and even Coulson won’t know why they’re in space as the season kicks off.
