‘Game of Thrones’ is one of the most popular shows on TV and as a result, one of the most spoiled, no matter what lengths the show go to in order to keep things under wraps.  The final season will consist of just six episodes, which are described as being “film-like in scope.”  But we can’t confirm this, not even when speaking to members of the cast.  Liam Cunningham, who plays Davos Seaworth, admits that he has the final scripts but that even he hasn’t read them.

“I got six of [the scripts], I’ve got them all. I can’t open them because of all the security, and I can’t walk it out. I can’t open them!”

Earlier, it had been rumored that the show would actually film multiple endings in order to throw off spoiler-seekers, but that was refuted by Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jamie Lannister), who pointed out that the show is already the most expensive in television history, so there really wasn’t cash available for wasted scenes.  The show stopped sending out screeners of episodes to journalists prior to their airing after multiple episodes were leaked online.  And even without entire episodes leaking, paparazzi have gone to great lengths to get scoops on the show.  Last year, actor Joe Dempsie was spotted at an airport in Belfast, thus letting the cat out of the bag regarding his character, Gendry’s return.

At this time, it isn’t known when ‘Game of Thrones’ will return, but it increasingly looks as though it won’t be until 2019.  According to Cunningham, it appears the cast will be shooting until sometime at the end of next summer.  With post-production requiring so much time, it really doesn’t seem as though ‘GoT’ will be back next year.

Presuming that you are a fan if you are reading this, are you anxious for any scoop you can get regarding the final season of ‘Game of Thrones’?  Or would you rather avoid spoilers until you can see the episodes for yourself?
