POTENTIAL SPOILERS AHEAD!
For everyone excited to see the Heroes for Hire team finally get together in the Netflix corner of the MCU, we have some good news for you. According to a new report by EW (along with an exclusive photo which you can check out to your right), it appears that Danny Rand will be showing up during ‘Luke Cage’ season 2!
Of course, we have no idea whether this is just a brief cameo or if he will be sticking around for a while, maybe to start a small business with Luke in which they let people hire them to be heroes… I mean, I know it’s doubtful at this point, but you never know. Luke was looking for a job at the beginning of ‘The Defenders,’ and Danny needs something to keep him busy other than running around at night in his new tracksuit. Of course, the connection could also be (as EW surmised) Missy Knight, as other photos have shown that she sports a new bionic arm in ‘Luke Cage’ Season 2, and the most likely donor is Danny Rand’s company, so Danny might be there to check up on her progress, maybe as part of his new mission as the protector of Hell’s Kitchen (since he took on that mantle after the “death” of Daredevil at the end of ‘The Defenders.’)
Either way, this is the pair that people have been the most excited about seeing get together, and since we just barely saw their friendship get going during ‘The Defenders,’ it is good news indeed to know Danny will be crossing over onto Luke’s series, and with any luck, Luke will be in ‘Iron Fist’ Season 2, because THAT show will need all the help it can get.
