twin-peaks-the-final-dossierThis Halloween, fans of ‘Twin Peaks‘ will have another reason to be excited as co-creator Mark Frost has confirmed a third companion book to the series will be launched titled ‘Twin Peaks: The Final Dossier’. Right as the premiere kicked off this last weekend, Frost broke the good news! As all things ‘Twin Peaks’ related the new book is considered top secret with no real details being shared. In fact, I’m a little surprised that the name itself was revealed.

While Frost wouldn’t state specifically what it was about he does that that it is “a kind of follow-up to the first one” so you should absolutely snag a copy if you’ve enjoyed the the last installment which was titled ‘The Secret History of Twin Peaks‘. Amazon’s pre-order page of the new title actually went further into detail by saying that this installment will reveal “what happened to key characters in the twenty-five years in between the events of the first series and the second” though doesn’t clarify which ones or if these are fates that the show will also share with us.

The previous chapter was released last Fall and included a dossier on the town and those who live there. An FBI agent with the initials TP annotated it and it is made up of Lewis and Clark diary entries, UFO sightings, personal journals, and so much more!

Are you looking forward to reading ‘Twin Peaks: The Final Dossier’? Do you think that the book will give us new details about the characters not even hinted at in the series or expand upon what we’ll be seeing on Showtime? Share your thoughts below!

‘Twin Peaks: The Final Dossier’ is set to be on bookshelves everywhere on October 31st, 2017!
