It’s the crossover no one ever expected to see: a crossover between TV’s ‘Supergirl’ and the movies’ ‘Wonder Woman’. Well, kind of. The female cast of ‘Supergirl’– Melissa Benoist, Chyler Leigh, Terri Hatcher and the original Wonder Woman herself, Lynda Carter assemble in a new clip to welcome the upcoming ‘Wonder Woman’ movie to the tune of the classic hit ‘These Boots Are Made For Walking’.

Sadly, this is the closest we’ll probably get to Gal Gadot‘s Wonder Woman interaction to either Benoist’s Supergirl or Lynda Carter. Carter plays President Olivia Marsdin on ‘Supergirl’ but her musical touring schedule prevented her from making a cameo in ‘Wonder Woman’.
Of course, Chyler Leigh plays Kara’s sister Alex and Terri Hatcher plays Mon-El’s conniving mother Rhea, who is the show’s current heavy. But Hatcher gained fame for playing Lois Lane on ‘Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman’.
Gal Gadot debuted as Wonder Woman/Diana Prince in last year’s ‘Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice’ and returns in her own solo movie, which opens on June 2, 2017. ‘Wonder Woman’ is directed by Patty Jenkins. The film also stars Chris Pine as Steve Trevor, Robin Wright as General Antiope, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta, Danny Huston as General Erich Ludendorff, David Thewlis as Sir Patrick, Elena Anaya as Doctor Maru/Poison, Lucy Davis as Etta Candy, Ewen Bremner as Charlie, Samantha Jo as Euobea, Florence Kasumba as Senator Acantha, Saïd Taghmaoui as Sameer, Eugene Brave Rock as Chief, Eleanor Matsuura as Epione, Lisa Loven Kongsli as Menalippe and Emily Carey as Young Diana.
‘Supergirl’ will return to The CW with new episodes this fall.
