The Marvel Cinematic Universe’s next offering, ‘Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2,’ will be released to audiences worldwide next month, so you know what that means – it’s time for Marvel to get the hype train going full steam ahead! Fortunately, the first ‘Guardians’ film surprised audiences and critics alike, so the anticipation for this next installment is naturally very high to begin with.
The film had its first official American press screening earlier this week, and initial reaction is very positive (as one would expect, of course). There are two new clips from the movie to share with you today, so without any further ado, I say we jump right in and get to ’em!
First up is a snippet of the film that debuted last night on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live.’ Kimmel has a good tradition going of hosting the major cast members for an upcoming film all at once on his show, and last night was no exception, as Chris Pratt (Star-Lord), Zoe Saldana (Gamora), Kurt Russell (Ego), Michael Rooker (Yondu), and Dave Batista (Drax) all stopped by to chat. They brought a clip with them, and it seems fairly self-explanatory, so here she is:
Next up is a piece of the film from Marvel UK that’s a bit more subdued: Star-Lord and Gamora follow-up on their conversation from the first film about “Earth music” and dancing. Take a peek:
‘Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2’ will be released in American theaters on May 5, 2017.
