As we’ve been learning more details on FX’s seventh season of ‘American Horror Story,’ it has come to our attention that Billy Eichner (‘What Happens in Vegas,”Bob’s Burgers’) has joined the cast. While his role has not yet been announced, we know that the upcoming season will have a political theme that might include both Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton.
Early reports have him portraying a confidant to whichever character Sarah Paulson ends up playing and that he “mostly will be wearing mysterious tank tops.” As a confidant, we don’t know if that means a lover, friend, or co-worker but he’ll be showing up in six or seven of the 11-episode run, so it’ll be a significant role.
I would love to say that we’ll know more when filming begins in May but as we all know ‘American Horror Story’ tends to be a full on mystery on what each season of this anthology series is about. The fact that we already know Paulson and Evan Peters will play returning characters and that the upcoming season will somehow be related to last year’s election cycle is already more than we would usually know at this point.
