As parts of the country are finally thawing out after what was hopefully the last snowfall of the year, some places might have even felt like summer is coming early. And though it’s not quite July just yet, True Believers will get a taste of the highly anticipated and super unprecedented ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ this week in the form of a brand new trailer. However, ahead of the release, the House of Ideas has dropped a few things on the web to tease the latest preview of the web-slinger’s first solo adventure in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
First, the film’s official Twitter sent out a six-second snippet of tomorrow’s big trailer premiere. In this clip, fans can see some of Spidey’s new tech on display as Tom Holland’s wall-crawler unleashes what appears to be a Spider Tracer, which no doubt came into his possession thanks to Tony Stark. You can also catch a glimpse at Spider-Man mixing it up with the Vulture on an airplane, which doesn’t really look like it’s going well for young Peter.

And speaking of the big bad bird played by Michael Keaton, USA Today also offered up some new information about the villainous Adrian Toomes along with a never before seen still from the movie. Their article reveals that Keaton’s character is a blue-collar worker who runs a company that provides the city of New York with clean-up after the messes made by the various superpowered skirmishes that tend to keep happening there. However, when Tony Stark starts a government organization that takes care of that very problem, Toomes is out of business and irate, which leads him to enlist a crew consisting of the Shocker (Bokeem Woodbine) and the Tinkerer (Michael Chernus) to utilize “this neat junk from all the other movies” like scavenged alien artifacts and other such items.
You can check out the Vulture looking like a boss below, followed by the official synopsis of the upcoming Phase Three film from Jon Watts:
A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man, who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May, under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark. Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine – distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man – but when the Vulture emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.
