Justice-League (2)

Superman is dead and is therefore completely absent from the first full-length trailer for this November’s ‘Justice League’.  As was set up in ‘Batman V Superman’, Batman (Ben Affleck) and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) are banding together to assemble a team of other special individuals: Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller).

Not only is there no glimpse of the deceased Man of Steel, there is also no reveal of Steppenwolf, the Apokoliptian New God that is said to be the Big Bad of this film.  There are several clips of the heroes battling Parademons, though AND, fans are treated to brief shots of Amy Adams as Lois Lane, J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon and perhaps coolest of all, Amber Heard as the water-controlling Queen of the Seas, Mera.

There’s really not much more to be said, so check out the trailer below for yourself!

In Justice League, fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Directed by Zack Snyder, ‘Justice League’ is set to be the flagship entry in DC’s burgeoning cinematic universe. The film features returning stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot alongside a wave of newcomers, including Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher and J.K. Simmons. ‘Justice League’ will land in theaters on November 17, 2017.
