Lost_Fleet_Corsair_Alex Ronald AIf you loved Jack Campbell’s ‘The Lost Fleet’ novels, then you’re going to be thrilled to hear that Titan Comics is set to bring us ‘The Lost Fleet: Corsair’ #1! The book will be penned by Campbell with art by Andre Siregar (‘Martian Comics,”Severa’) with Sebastian Cheng. The name will sound familiar to many readers out there as it is a military science fiction series of “11 internationally best-selling novels.” The focus on it is a war between two interstellar human cultures called The Alliance and the Syndics. We jump in 100 years into the war in a generation who has known nothing but battle.

This new set of comics is “set after the end of a century-old war between two space empires.” In it, we follow Captain Michael Geary who has been missing ever since the Syndic had launched an ambush which “almost destroyed the space fleet John “Black Jack” Geary had to get home, against all odds!”

He teams up with rebel Syndics, and we see Geary having to save not only his fellow prisoners but the jailers as well. With the Syndics government facing an uprising they won’t stand for what Geary is up to as he has to live up to the legend behind his name. Teaming up with the Syndics rebel Destina Aragon will either mean salvation or a quick death at the hands of the enemy government who had imprisoned him and his crew.

At the very least, this looks to be visually spectacular and action-packed! While I don’t think you’ll need to have read the novels to fully enjoy this it undoubtedly will help to set the tone and backstory of the books.
