The last we saw of Norman Osborn he had just had the Goblin Serum removed from his system and donned a new face so that no one would know what he looked like when he returns – and his reappearance is imminent! Issue #25 of the series will drop with a “mammoth 96-page” book titled “The Osborn Identity” which will be written by Dan Slott and illustrated by the always talented Stuart Immonen. Talk about out of the frying pan and into the fire as Peter Parker has no time to slow down when “The Clone Saga” having just wrapped up as he swings his way into one of his most lethal adventures yet!
We’ll be seeing Osborn not only back but “deadlier than ever” which will be quite a feet after he no longer has super powers. Norman has been amassing power while hidden away using the resources he built through HAMMER and his criminal enterprises and now is ready to take on The Wallcrawler, Parker Industries, and anyone else that stands in his way to achieving the revenge he desires.
Only the first 40 pages are devoted to the new story though as Dan Slott and Giuseppe Camuncoli are bringing us a secretive story “that will have fans everywhere talking!”
On top of that, we’ll see Hannah Blumenreich making her debut of in the Spider-verse with an original story.
Fan-favorite ‘A-May-Zing Spider Aunt’ returns with a new story by Cale Atkinson.
The evil Clash returns once again thanks to Christos Gage and Todd Nauck.
More Spidey Tsu Tsum tales are introduced by Jacob Chabot and Ray Anthony Height.
Finally, the book wraps up with Shanghai as James Asmus and Tana Ford introduce us to some new and upcoming Spidertech!
I have a feeling Parker will need all the help this tech can bring as he comes up against his greatest nemesis once more.
Did I mention that we also have a few preview images from the issue?
Looking great and I suspect that in the hands of Dan Slott that it’ll read even better!
