I’m pretty sure that we’re all already in agreement that May 5th can’t come soon enough so we can finally see ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2‘ but today we’ve got some new shots from the film to make the wait even worse. Yes, at this point the teasers are more painful than fun as it will be that much longer before Star-Lord returns with his pelvic sorcery. Today, these eight new shots will revisit cast members both old and new as well as hint at scenes which we haven’t seen in the trailers quite yet.

Clearly, this is for those who need to see as much as possible before each movie is released.

When speaking about the film and what we can expect from it, director James Gunn has been trying to keep things under wrap specifically so it won’t be predictable as:

“The first movie was successful because we took chances and gave people the unexpected. This movie can only really be what it is, Guardians can only be what they are, if they’re taking a risk. It means giving them a much different movie.”

Not getting the same formula might turn some fans off if they aren’t going to get exactly worked so well but the fact of the matter is the risks in storytelling are what worked here.

Take a look at the latest shots from the film here!

See, these are really just a tease. Though it will be interesting to see Raccoon and Yondu interacting on the big screen when the film finally debuts
