Netflix has decided to capitalize on the lack of new episodes this time of year by reminding folks about all of the shows currently streaming on their website, especially the Marvel ones that they are so proud of, and that most fans will want to catch up on to prepare for next year when the Netflix corner of the MCU will be releasing 3 new shows, ‘Iron Fist,’ ‘The Punisher,’ and the long awaited and highly anticipated ‘The Defenders.’ With all of that in mind Netflix has released a fun promo titled ‘Tis the season to Binge and Wreck the Halls’ which features clips from ‘Daredevil’ Seasons 1 and 2, ‘Jessica Jones,’ and ‘Luke Cage’ where all of the characters are doing what they do best (kicking butt) and the whole thing is timed out to the classic Christmas tune ‘Deck the Halls.’

The promo is clearly designed to get new viewers to binge watch all of the current Marvel shows on Netflix over the long holiday break when all of the Network shows are on hiatus, and also to remind viewers that have already seen all of these shows that they too can still binge rewatch over the holiday season, as the shows are clearly good enough to deserve a rewatch (I know its been on my mind since all the CW superhero shows went on hiatus). Plus, with ‘The Defenders’ coming out next year rewatching could yield some new theories about what exactly ‘The Defenders’ is going to be about, especially with the hints dropped during ‘Daredevil’ Seasons 1 and 2 which seem to be building toward something pretty epic and mystical, which is most likely what the heroes of ‘The Defenders’ will be teaming up to defeat.
