spider-man-homecoming

Who says you can’t go home again? ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming 2’ has already been given a release date within days of the first trailer for the upcoming ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming‘ was released. Yes folks, the first take of Tom Holland suiting up as everyone’s friendly neighborhood wallcrawler won’t even be out until July 7th, 2017 and already a sequel is now set to come out on July 5th, 2019! It should come as no surprise that Marvel Studios will want to push Spidey to the forefront now that they’ve gained much of the creative control back on the character and if the small part he played in ‘Captain America: Civil War’, as well as the trailer which we’ve seen so far, are any indication, we’ve got a slew of top notch movies to look forward to!

In order to make room on their release calendar, it looks as if Sony has moved back ‘Bad Boys 4’ to May 24th, 2019 instead of the July r3rd, 2019 release date which it previously had. This, of course, will only be relevant if ‘Bad Boys For Life’, the third installment in the series is a smash hit when it drops on January 12th, 2018.

At this time Holland only has a six picture deal with three solo movies and other appearances which will likely have him popping up in ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ as well. Hopefully, this is a contract which will get extended if they’ve finally been able to cast the perfect web slinger.

Are you happy to hear that Marvel Studios and Sony are this confident in their new ‘Spider-Man’ franchise? Do you think we’ll see a vastly different title by the time the film is released? Share your thoughts below True Believers!

‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ is set to swing into theaters on July 7th, 2017 with the sequel now ready to expand the franchise’s web on July 5th, 2019!
