For those who are missing the old ‘Mythbusters‘ show and are not looking forward to the strange reality TV-show Frankenstein-monster reboot that they are turning it into, have no fear, Netflix is coming to save the day with the ‘White Rabbit Project.’

In the series, Kari Byron, Tory Belleci, and Grant Imahara “head down the rabbit hole” to look into events from pop culture, history and science and ostensibly, to find out how much truth and fact these events and phenomena are actually based on. The topics that we know about so far range from things like superpower technology, jailbreaks, World War II weapons, and heists, but the possibilities seem endless, especially if they use similar methods to those employed on ‘Mythbusters’ to see how a lot of these things would really work in reality, and what the level of truth is when we see them up on the big screen.

For those intrigued by the concept, check out the trailer that Netflix has released below, which shows off a lot of the tests and experiments the gang will be performing on the show. This gives you a good taste of the personalities of the main characters, the overall fun tone of the fun, and the vibe they are trying to cultivate, which to me does feel a lot in line with ‘Mythbusters’ which is why I am kind of excited about this series. Whether or not I binge watch every episode at once when it hits Netflix on December 9th will have to be decided later, as I might just want to enjoy a few at a time, as this does not necessarily seem like the kind of show that I would feel that I feel to finish in a hurry (as oppose to a linear series where I would race to the end to know what happens).

Is this a show you would be interested in watching, or do you think it is just a ‘Mythbusters’ knockoff without any merit? Feel free to share your opinions in the comments below!
