If you aren’t fully caught up with ‘The Walking Dead‘ or want a refresher course then you’ll be happy to hear that AMC is releasing ‘The Walking Dead: Journey So Far’ which will be a 2-hour refresher of how Rick Grimes’ survivors have gotten to where they are today. It is actually set to recap the entire series to date with both cast and crew adding more perspective with interviews and insights from working on and behind the camera.

It is set to debut on October 16th, 2016 from 9-11pm on AMC. A week before the premiere is set to air.

They are describing the event as:

Season by season, from the moment Rick wakes up in the hospital (as told by Andrew Lincoln), all the way to the excruciating first swing of Negan’s bat (told by Jeffery Dean Morgan and others in the lineup), the story of “The Walking Dead” will be told by those who have lived it. “The Walking Dead: Journey So Far” gives viewers who have never seen an episode of “The Walking Dead” a chance to get all caught up on the plot, characters, locations, and unique terminology of the series as well as providing fans who‘ve never missed a moment with fresh interviews with the series’ producers and their favorite actors as part of an exciting refresher course that will further whet their appetite for the new season.

With a huge panel in New York Comic-Con, the premiere the week after, and ‘Fear the Walking Dead’ finishing off another season, October has shaped up to become a huge month for fans of the franchise.
