Brother_Voodoo

We’ve known that ‘Doctor Strange‘ would introduce us to The Ancient One and Wong but now it looks like another long time associate of the Sorcerer Supreme may be popping up with Brother Voodoo making an appearance. In fact, a new rumor has popped up that not only will Jericho Drumm who becomes Brother Voodoo is set to pop up but that Tina Minoru is as well.

Brother Voodoo is a Haitian voodoo magic user who ends up becoming quite powerful over time. In fact, when Strange loses the title of Sorcerer Supreme, Voodoo is the one who takes it over for quite some time. While this is one of the first times we’re hearing about a possible Brother Voodoo inclusion, it shouldn’t be too shocking. For those who have read the ‘Doctor Strange Prelude’ comics which are technically canon for Marvel’s Cinematic Universe, he was already introduced over there.

The true surprise though is the potential inclusion of Tina Minoru. While not a big player for long in Marvel’s comics she is most memorably known as Nico Minoru’s mother from ‘Runaways‘. With that series having been greenlit on Hulu it almost seems like a way that Marvel could finally start tying it’s TV shows back in with the movies.

I’m not holding my breath on that one.
