“Time strikes back” in this promo for the third season of ‘The Flash‘ as we near the premiere of ‘Flashpoint‘ which will be both the episode’s title and a major plot point in the upcoming season. The last season closed with Barry Allen jumping through time and the changes in the timeline that this has caused means that nothing will ever be the same again! Just like your general comic story arc this is promising to really shake things up for ‘The Flash’ and does so in a way that looks like it’ll be drawing us all in for another fun filled season.

So what has changed? Well, Barry’s parents are alive which will by itself make his world different. On top of that, we see Wentworth Miller returning as Leonard Snart and Captain Cold as well as giving us Grey Damon’s Mirror Master. Also showing up to give Barry a hard time this season will be a new version of The Top, Magenta, and Dr. Alchemy with Gorilla Grodd and Zoom returning. No word for all of these villains on if they’ll be showing up during “Flashpoint” or when Barry’s world returns to normal.
With an alternate world where his parents are alive and kicking, it will be curious to see what forces Barry to change things back and return the timeline to how it should be. Or, if it even happens by his hand or another’s.
