Holy return to the 60s Batman! This ‘Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders‘ trailer will bring you back to a simpler time for the caped crusader! Not only do we get to see Adam West return as Batman and Burt Ward returning to voice Robin, but Julie Newmar will be voicing Catwoman as well! Holy unholy alliance Batman fans, Catwoman isn’t the only villain we’ll see the dynamic duo going up against as The Riddler, The Penguin, and of course, The Joker are all set to take on Gotham City’s finest once again.

If this succeeds financially we may have more than just a one off of the movie and see them return once again down the line. We already saw that DC Entertainment was willing to go with an R-Rating for ‘Batman: The Killing Joke‘ and this take is the furthest in the opposite direction you can possibly get.

You can check out the trailer here!

The pure on cheese factor from the 60s is bleeding through to the point that really brings nostalgia home for anyone who grew up with the series (either in the 60s or by catching it during re-runs in, say, the 80s.) We’ll have to see Batman and Robin at their best, in space and back, to foil this nefarious plot.

Are you looking forward to the original crusade against evil by Gotham’s greatest good? Do you plan to check this out digitally or on disc? Do you think we’ll see a limited theater run like they did with ‘Batman: The Killing Joke’? Share your thoughts below!

Synopsis:

It’s back to the 1960s as Batman and Robin spring into action when Gotham City is threatened by a quartet of Batman’s most fiendish foes – Penguin, The Joker, Riddler, and Catwoman. The four Super-Villains have combined their wicked talents to hatch a plot so nefarious that the Dynamic Duo will need to go to outer space (and back) to foil their arch enemies and restore order in Gotham City. It’s a truly fantastic adventure that will pit good against evil, good against good, evil against evil … and feature two words that exponentially raise the stakes for both sides: Replicator Ray. Holy Multiplication Tables!

Holy technology folks, you can view ‘Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders’ on Digital HD on October 11th, 2016 or own it on Blu-Ray November 1st, 2016!
