We’re a little over 2 months away from the release of Marvel Studios’ ‘Doctor Strange‘ and we have some new images to share with you today. In them, we get a bit of the magic of the world as well as a variety of the cast members popping up. ‘Doctor Strange’ is a big gamble for Marvel in much the way that ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ was. Visually it looks as if we’ll have another Marvel Megablockbuster on our hands but we’ll have to see if magic gives us the same draw that leather clad superheroes and talking raccoons have been able to pull off so far.

I for one hope that it can and that director Scott Derrickson pulls it off! The character has been hard for many to nail down in comics so I hope that they can do him justice on the big screen.

Let’s take a look at the new shots from the film below:

Synopsis:

From Marvel comes “Doctor Strange,” the story of world-famous neurosurgeon Dr. Stephen Strange whose life changes forever after a horrific car accident robs him of the use of his hands. When traditional medicine fails him, he is forced to look for healing, and hope, in an unlikely place—a mysterious enclave known as Kamar-Taj. He quickly learns that this is not just a center for healing but also the front line of a battle against unseen dark forces bent on destroying our reality. Before long Strange—armed with newly acquired magical powers—is forced to choose whether to return to his life of fortune and status or leave it all behind to defend the world as the most powerful sorcerer in existence.

‘Doctor Strange’ is directed by Scott Derrickson and stars Benedict Cumberbatch as the title hero, with Chiwetel Ejiofor as Baron Mordo, Tilda Swinton as The Ancient One, Rachel McAdams as Christine Palmer, Michael Stühlbarg as Nicodemus West, Benedict Wong as Wong, and Mads Mikkelsen, Scott Adkins and Amy Landecker in mystery roles. The film will appear in theaters on November 4, 2016.
