Sharknado-April-Tara-Reid

Who would have thought back in 2013 when the first ‘Sharknado‘ was released that we would be seeing a sequel to the TV movie made every subsequent year. Now, as ‘Sharknado 4: The 4th Awakens‘ gets ready to launch next month, we are starting to see promos for Syfy’s summer hit franchise, the latest of which delves into the question of whether or not Tara Reid’s character, April, survived the last installment of the film, and will be involved in the 4th movie.

SPOILER AHEAD:

Luckily for fans of Reid, the teaser reveals that she not only survived, but has been in training, ready to go at it with the sharks once more, and even being given the opportunity to deliver the classic line from ‘Terminator’ “Come with me if you want to live.”

The teaser starts with the last time we saw Reid’s character in ‘Sharknado 3,’ and then cuts into her training montage, where we see her running along a bridge, pulling cars with her newfound muscles, and then revealing her face from under a hood before delivering the ‘Terminator’ line I mentioned above. Its just goofy and fun enough to assure you that the team behind ‘Sharknado’ has yet to lose its touch, and let you know that the 4th installment in the franchise is still not going to be receiving any critical praise or award nominations (none of which matters to the creators or fans).

Check out the teaser for yourself (below), and then let us know your thoughts ‘Sharknado: The 4th Awakens.’ Are you excited to see Tara Reid back on board? Do you think they would ever really kill her off/ could they do a ‘Sharknado’ without her at this point? Feel free to share your opinions on the franchise down in the comments section below the teaser!

‘Sharknado 4: The 4th Awakens’ airs Sunday, July 31, at 8pm ET/PT on the Syfy network.
